Adopt-a-Vendor Commercial Contest — Friday
Attendees will be assigned a Vendor as they arrive. At 11:30 am, we ask all Attendees to gather at their assigned Vendor Table, where the Vendor will tell them a little about their business, what makes them special, what their best sellers are, and more. The Attendees then have 30 minutes to brainstorm and come up with a Commercial for that Vendor. It could be a catchy jingle, an elevator pitch, a moving story — or whatever the Creative Muses come up with! The group will then move forward to the Main Stage and present their Commercial for the assembled audience. The audience can then vote for the winning Commercia. The winning team will win some cool gifts.
Meet the Press Shark Tank Style Pitch Contest — Friday
Selected Business Owners will have a chance to Pitch a newsworthy story to a panel of local journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and other media representatives. The Panel will select a winner to receive a special prize. All participants will be booked on at least one podcast or radio show. Want to be one of the businesses who pitch? Headshots — Friday
Attendees can get a professional headshot by award-winning photographer Michelle Bryant-Griffin. Pre-registration required.
Laughter Yoga — Friday & Saturday
The Laughing Yogi Brittney Hiller of Effervescence Yoga Spa of Beaufort will lead attendees in activities to tone the core, stimulate the brain, and keep us all laughing.
