Create a Daily Marketing Plan

Do you have a daily marketing plan? You should. Daily Marketing Plan should be a top priorityAnd your daily marketing plan should be one of your top priorities every day.

First, let’s be clear on my definition of marketing. Marketing is presenting a specific product, service or offer to a specific audience with the intention of creating a specific outcome.

You absolutely MUST spend time and effort every day on getting your message and your product in front of potential customers. Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of creating a broad, over-arching “marketing plan” with lofty goals and high concepts, but don’t take the time to break it down into everyday actions. For real success, you need to bring your marketing activities down to a daily level.

What Should Be In Your Daily Marketing Plan?

Your first decision needs to be who your target audience should be that day. You can choose a different audience every day if you have multiple audiences you want to talk to, but for every audience, you will need a plan. Don’t know who your target audience is? Read this.

Once you’ve determined the audience, develop a message or an offer that is attractive and relevant to that audience. What message does that particular audience need to hear from you today? When you focus on creating a marketing plan daily, you’ll start to see how many aspects of your business you can present to your potential customers. You can change or modify your offer and delivery every day if you want.

The next decision is how to best communicate with that audience. Is it an email? Is it a post on Facebook? Is it a phone call or text message? Again, one day you may want to focus on email. The next day focus on social media. The next day you can focus on phone calls. But  do some sort of marketing activity every day.

And finally, make sure you are tracking your results every day. Making small adjustments to your daily marketing plan can result in huge improvements quickly. If you wait and only look at results on a weekly or monthly basis, you will miss a lot of opportunities.

So take the time to create a daily marketing plan and start executing it today.
